(4) High pressure air compressor for navy surface ship service
Oil-Free High Pressure Shipboard Air
Fully Qualified For Military Marine Use Qualified under NAVSEA Contract N00024-89-C-4151, the 5R5-75A High Pressure Air Compressor met all NAVSEA specified qualification requirements for Surface Combatant Vessels.
Reduced Noise Signature The swash plate design of the 5R5 allows the running gear to be fully balanced, resulting in a reduced noise signature.
Retrofit-Ability The 5R5 design allows for easy retrofit through hatches as small as 27" in diameter without complete disassembly of the package, and the small footprint, and upright design allows the unit to be fitted into a very ...
Environmentally Friendly No lubricants are used-water cools and seals the cylinder during compression. Fluids contain no hazardous materials-disposal causes no environmental concerns.
Low Noise No thrust load is applied in the axial direction of the screw rotor. Radial load applied to the screw is balanced, allowing quiet rotation of the rotor and reduced airborne and structural noise.
Very Durable along the threads of the glovoid worm screw. Unique free floating design keeps efficiency high for prolonged periods. Typical 30,000 hour MTBF.
High Efficiency Water injection allows nearly isothermal air compression and provides reliable, ...
RIX STAR-200 Navy Standard 200 scfm, 125 psi Low Pressure Air Compressor
Oil Free Low Pressure Air
Environmentally Friendly No lubricants are needed for the single-screw design because water is used to cool and seal the cylinder during compression. Drained fluid contains no hazardous materials and can be disposed of without environmental concerns.
Low Noise No thrust load is applied in the axial direction of the screw rotor. Radial load applied to the screw is compensated for and balanced thus allowing quiet rotation of the rotor and reduced airborne and structureborne noise.
Durability The gate rotors automatically follow the rotation of the rotor and move along the threads of the glovoid worm ...
(3) Oil-Free High-Pressure Nitrogen Gas Generator for Aircraft Servicing and Other Inert Gas Requirements
Nitrogen where you need it, when you need it. Oil-free and ready to use. The RIX MiniGen is a self-contained nitrogen generation system that will produce (95-99.5%) dry inert gas from atmospheric feed air. The nitrogen is available at high pressure (up to 3,000 psig) for storage or for use in aircraft support, refineries, or other inerting situations. The system includes a membrane module to produce the nitrogen and a RIX oil-free compressor to generate elevated pressure. All of the components are mounted on a small skid. and operation requires only shop air source and electrical connection.
RIX Industries NGEN-30S, High Purity Stationary Inert Gas Nitrogen Generator
Designed for industrial inert gas users, the RIX model NGEN-30S provides high quality nitrogen product gas for use in applications where high pressure inert gas generation is needed to supply gas assist injection molding; industrial gas cylinder filling; leak testing; fuel tank blanketing; strut and tire servicing, and other high purity inert gas applications.
The RIX NON MAG is a non-magnetic, sea-water cooled, oil-lubricated air compressor, designed for diesel starting on U.S. Navy minesweeper vessels. The unit is rated for continuous duty, delivering 20 SCFM @ 600 psig. The compressor, drive motor, heat exchangers, moisture separators, gauge panel and associated piping and control devices are mounted on a common bedplate. The compressor assembly meets U.S. NAVSEA shock and vibration requirements.
The LCS is used to generate and dispense dry air for shipboard systems. This MPAC delivers the minimum rated air at a capacity of 80 SCFM at 600 PSIG. It is powered by a 3-stage, 4 cylinder, 50 HP, continuous duty, reciprocating compressor providing medium pressure air. MPAC operation is monitored and controlled automatically by a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). The MPAC may be operated in either automatic or manual mode.
The MG-30BD is designed to separate Nitrogen from a compressed air system and boost the gas up to 3,000 PSI for storage or immediate use. This Nitrogen can be used for filling tires, struts, inerting fuel systems and other uses requiring Nitrogen purities of 99.5% or greater. The MG-30BD is comprised of a Nitrogen generating membrane system and a RIX 2V3 booster compressor. Each generator/compressor produces 2250-3000 PSI, 0.5-10 SCFM oil-free Nitrogen at a crankshaft speed of 410-570 rpm with 100-150 PSIG inlet air pressure.
The MNG is used to generate and dispense gaseous Nitrogen for the servicing of aircraft and shipboard systems. It is a 5-stage, shock isolated, skid-mounted Nitrogen generator. It delivers 24 SCFM of Nitrogen at 5000 PSIG. It is powered by a 2-stage, 4 cylinder, 50 HP continuous duty, reciprocating compressor. The Nitrogen Boost compressor is a 3 stage, 3 cylinder, 15 HP continuous duty, reciprocating compressor, providing contaminant free high pressure Nitrogen. The N2 membrane assembly uses semi-permeable molecular sieve type, hollow-fiber membranes. MNG operation is monitored and controlled automatically by a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC).
Our 2JS4B-150 is a four-stage air compressor package with accessories and electric motor drive controlled by a GE Programmable Controller. It is designed for 100 SCFM air output at 5000 PSIG, 610 RPM and 122°F inlet. It has automatic operational mode with high temperature, high air pressure, high water level in moisture separators, high delivered air temperature and low oil pressure safety shutdown features. The entire package is mounted on a rugged, structural bedplate with the control box installed near the starter box.
