The MNGG is used to generate and dispense gaseous Nitrogen for the servicing of aircraft systems and support equipment. The package consists of the feed air compressor, Nitrogen membrane module, Nitrogen boost compressor, Oxygen concentration monitor and the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) control system. The feed air compressor is a two stage, 4 cylinder, 50 HP, continuous duty, oil-free, reciprocating compressor. The compressor operates at approx. 750 rpm and produces 125 SCF of saturated air at 215 PSIG. The Nitrogen boost compressor provides contaminant free, high pressure Nitrogen. The MNGG produces two types of gas: standard type product gas and extra clean type product gas.
The V-22 Mobile Air Compressor (V-22 MAC) is a skid mounted, totally enclosed air compressor used as an oil-free air-testing source. The V-22 package is assembled to include the feed air compressor, air dryer membrane assembly, heat exchanger assembly, electrical control assembly with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), and volume tank assembly.
